1. Cook the Sausages
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausages and cook for 10β12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Remove and keep warm.
2. Make the Mashed Potatoes
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15β20 minutes).
- Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
3. Prepare the Onion Gravy
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sautΓ© onions until soft and golden (about 10 minutes).
- Sprinkle flour over onions and stir well.
- Gradually add beef broth, whisking to avoid lumps.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (5β8 minutes).
4. Serve
- Plate mashed potatoes, top with sausages, and spoon generous amounts of onion gravy over everything.
- Optional: Serve with peas or roasted vegetables.
