
π Brazilian Fried Bananas with Cinnamon Sugar
π³ Method
- Prep the Bananas
- Peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise or into thick rounds (your choice).
- Mix the cinnamon and sugar on a plate.
- Make the Butter Glaze
- Melt 2 tbsp of butter in the microwave.
- Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Coat the Bananas
- Brush each banana piece with the melted butter mixture.
- Roll them in the cinnamon sugar until fully coated.
- Fry to Perfection
- In a skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated bananas and fry until golden and caramelized on all sides (about 2β3 minutes per side).
- Serve Warm
- Enjoy them as-is, or top with ice cream, caramel sauce, or a sprinkle of toasted coconut.
