Prepare the Shrimp:
In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear shrimp for about 2β3 minutes per side until golden and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Make the Cajun Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Stir in honey (if using), smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice.
Simmer the sauce for about 2β3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine & Serve:
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve hot with rice, pasta, or bread for dipping. Enjoy! π
