🔪 Instructions:

1. Make the Dough

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  • Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

2. First Rise

  • Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.

3. Shape the Rolls

  • Punch down dough and divide into 8 equal pieces.
  • Shape each into a ball, then flatten slightly and pinch the center to create a crease.
  • Place seam-side down on a floured baking sheet.

4. Second Rise

  • Cover and let rise for another 45 minutes.

5. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • Bake rolls for 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Optional: Spray with water before baking for extra crustiness.
