Prep the crust
Squeeze excess moisture from hash browns using a clean towel.
Mix hash browns with cheddar, salt, and pepper.
Press into a greased 9-inch pie dish or springform pan, covering bottom and sides.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp.
Make the filling
Whisk eggs and milk until smooth.
Stir in bacon, cheese, onion, salt, and pepper.
Assemble & bake
Pour filling into the pre-baked crust.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes until set and lightly golden.
Let cool slightly, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
