🍳 Instructions:
Simmer the Beef Place corned beef in a large pot. Add water to cover, spice packet, onion, garlic, bay leaf, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
Add Veggies Add carrots and potatoes. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add cabbage wedges and cook for another 15–20 minutes, until all vegetables are fork-tender.
Slice and Serve Remove corned beef and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain. Serve with vegetables and ladle some broth over everything for extra flavor.
🌿 Optional Add-ons:
A splash of apple cider vinegar or Dijon mustard on the cabbage
Fresh parsley for garnish
Horseradish or grainy mustard on the side
