Spicy Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions

Ingredients:
**For the Marinade:**
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1 tbsp cornstarch
– 1 tbsp rice vinegar
– 1 tsp sugar
– 1 tbsp sesame oil
**For the Stir-Fry:**
– 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
– 2 large bell peppers (red and green), sliced
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– 2 tbsp vegetable oil
– 1 tbsp soy sauce (for extra flavor)
1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil. Add the sliced steak, coating well, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger for 4–5 minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.
4. Pour in the beef broth and extra soy sauce, then add the steak back to the skillet. Stir everything together for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
5. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles for a complete, delicious meal.
