🥖 Ingredients

For the marinade:

  • 3 tbsp peri-peri sauce
  • ½ cup tomato purée
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt

For the sandwich:

  • 4 sirloin steaks (thinly sliced)
  • 4 Portuguese bread rolls
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 fresh chillies (finely chopped)
  • Tomato slices & onion rings (for topping)
