Chaffle Burger Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup part-skim shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 Butterball Lean Ground Turkey Patties (90% Lean)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Mustard and ketchup (sugar-free or reduced sugar)

  • Preheat your mini waffle maker.
  • Prepare the Chaffle Batter:
    • In a bowl, mix the part-skim shredded mozzarella, eggs, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Cook the Chaffles:
    • Grease the waffle maker lightly. Spoon a portion of the batter onto the center of the waffle maker and close the lid. Cook until the chaffle is golden brown and firm to the touch. Repeat for the remaining batter.
  • Cook the Turkey Patties:
    • Season the Butterball Lean Ground Turkey Patties with salt and pepper. Grill or cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked.
  • Assemble the Burger:
    • Place a chaffle on a plate, add a lettuce leaf, a turkey patty, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with another chaffle to form a burger.
  • Serve:
    • Serve the chaffle burgers with mustard and ketchup on the side.
