  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4–5 potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste (optional, for depth)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening gravy)
