Cajun Dirty Rice with Shrimp & Crawfish

🍳 Method:

  1. Cook the meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. If using chicken liver, add and cook until no longer pink. Drain excess fat if needed.

  2. Sauté the vegetables: Add oil or butter to the pan, then sauté onions, bell pepper, and celery until soft (about 5-7 minutes). Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add seafood: Stir in shrimp and crawfish. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

  4. Combine with rice: Add the cooked rice to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  5. Garnish & serve: Stir in chopped green onions. Serve hot!
