Instructions
Step 01
In a medium saucepan, combine rolled oats, milk or plant-based milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat while stirring occasionally.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together egg, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until fully blended.
Step 03
Once the oats have absorbed most of the liquid, about 5 to 7 minutes, lower the heat. Gradually pour the egg mixture into the saucepan, stirring constantly to prevent the egg from scrambling.
Step 04
Continue cooking over low heat for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, stirring continuously until the oatmeal becomes creamy and thickened.
Step 05
Remove from heat and divide into bowls. Top with fresh berries, sliced bananas, and chopped nuts as desired. Serve immediately.
