
DOES ANYONE HERE ACTUALLY EAT CARROT CAKES?
👩🍳 Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar, and oil until smooth.
- Add grated carrots, pineapple/applesauce (if using), and mix well.
- In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until combined.
- Fold in walnuts if using.
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
Frosting:
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beat until fluffy.
- Spread over the cooled cake.
