1. Make the Sauce:

Add tomatoes, bay leaf, beer, beef stock, port wine, Worcestershire sauce, and chili.
Simmer for 30–40 minutes. Blend until smooth and season to taste.
2. Assemble the Sandwich:
Grill or pan-fry the steak and sausages.
Toast the bread lightly.
Layer bread, ham, steak, sausages, and top with another slice of bread.
Cover with cheese slices and melt in the oven (180°C / 350°F) for 5 minutes.
3. Finish:
Fry the egg and place it on top.
Pour hot sauce generously over the sandwich.
