- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup green peas
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon flour (to thicken)
- 3 cups beef stock or water
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Dumplings:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter (cold, diced)
- 1/3 cup milk (add more if needed)
