
Hot Honey Fried Shrimp
🔥 Instructions
- Marinate: Soak shrimp in buttermilk for 15–30 minutes to tenderize and help the coating stick.
- Dredge: Mix flour and spices in a bowl. Remove shrimp from buttermilk and coat thoroughly in the flour mixture. Press gently to ensure an even crust.
- Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry shrimp in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
- Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, warm honey with chili flakes and vinegar until just bubbling. Remove from heat.
- Toss & serve: Drizzle or toss fried shrimp in hot honey glaze while still warm. Garnish with chopped parsley or scallions if desired.
