
Lemon Garlic Butter Cod
🔥 Instructions
- Prep the cod Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and optional paprika or onion powder.
- Sear the fish Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cod fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and zest. Simmer briefly.
- Combine & serve Return cod to the pan and spoon sauce over the fillets. Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
