
Lobster Thermidor Recipe

- Cook the Lobster Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut lobster tails lengthwise to expose the meat. Drizzle with olive oil and roast for 15–20 minutes until cooked through. Let cool, then remove meat and chop into bite-sized pieces. Save the shells for presentation.
- Make the Sauce In a pan, melt butter and sauté shallots until translucent. Add mushrooms and cook until soft. Pour in wine and reduce by half.
- Thicken the Sauce In the same pan, add flour and stir to form a paste. Slowly whisk in fish stock and cream. Simmer until thickened. Stir in mustard, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Combine and Fill Add chopped lobster meat to the sauce. Spoon mixture back into the lobster shells. Top with cheese.
- Broil and Serve Broil for 3–5 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbling. Garnish with herbs and serve with a crisp salad or roasted vegetables.
