🔥 Instructions:
- Activate yeast: Dissolve yeast and 1 tbsp sugar in warm water. Let sit until foamy (about 10 minutes).
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add wet ingredients: Make a well in the center and add milk, butter, eggs, and yeast mixture.
- Knead dough: Mix thoroughly until smooth and soft. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Shape dough: Pull into flat discs or balls with a slight indentation in the center.
- Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Coat in sugar: Drain on paper towels, then roll in sugar while still warm.
