
Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes
🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Meatloaf
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Mix topping ingredients and spread over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until cooked through.
2. Make Mashed Potatoes
- Boil potatoes in salted water until soft (about 15–20 minutes).
- Drain and mash with butter and milk until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper.
3. Serve
- Slice meatloaf and serve with a generous scoop of mashed potatoes.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.
💡 Tips
- Want extra flavor? Add grated cheese to the mashed potatoes or mix chopped veggies into the meatloaf.
- For a Moroccan twist, try adding cumin and paprika to the meat mix!
