
Mutton Curry Recipe 🍖

1. Heat oil/ghee in a pressure cooker or heavy-bottomed pan. Add whole spices and sauté till fragrant.
2. Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
4. Add tomatoes and cook until soft and oil starts to separate.
5. Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander, and cumin powders. Mix well and cook the masala for 2 minutes.
6. Add curd and cook on medium flame until oil releases.
7. Add mutton and sear for 5–6 minutes until it’s well coated with masala.
8. Add salt and 1 to 1½ cups water (adjust depending on how thick you want the gravy).
9. Pressure cook for 4–5 whistles or slow cook until the mutton is tender.
10. Open lid, add garam masala and simmer for 5 minutes.
11. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.

Serve with steamed rice, jeera rice, chapati, naan, or paratha.
