Pizza Dough 🍕
Ingredients:
– 1 and 2/3 cups warm water (400ml)
– 1 and 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (20g)
– 2 teaspoons instant yeast (7g)
– 1 tablespoon salt (15g)
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (20g)
– 5 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (680g)
Steps:
1. Combine warm water, olive oil, yeast, salt, sugar, and flour in a bowl to make a dough.
2. Wet your hand and knead until smooth.
3. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
4. Stretch and fold the sides of the dough to the center 3-4 times, using wet hands.
5. Flip the dough, shape it into a ball, cover, and let it rest for 60 minutes.
6. After 90 minutes, divide into 4 equal pieces (about 280g each).
7. Shape each piece into a ball, place on an oiled tray, cover, and let rest for 15 minutes.
8. Flatten a dough ball into a small circle, then stretch into a 10-12 inch pizza, leaving a ½-inch crust.
9. Add your toppings and bake at 550°F (285°C) for 10-12 minutes.
