🍳 Method
- Marinate the beef with garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and wine. Let it sit for 1–2 hours or overnight.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot. Add onions and bay leaves, cook until soft.
- Add the beef and brown it on all sides.
- Stir in tomato paste and chopped tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the wine marinade, cover, and simmer on low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Add carrots and potatoes (if using) and cook until tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, then garnish with fresh parsley.
