
Portuguese Prego Rolls
🔥 Instructions
- Marinate the steak Blend all marinade ingredients until smooth. Flatten steaks with a meat mallet to about 1 cm thick. Pour marinade over steaks and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Cook the steak Heat a griddle or skillet until very hot. Sear steaks for 1–2 minutes per side until caramelized. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Make chilli butter Mix chopped chillies with softened butter.
- Assemble the rolls Slice rolls and spread with chilli butter. Add steak, tomato, and onion. Serve warm!
