🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and jalapeños. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Mix in cilantro and all seasonings.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes until thickened.
  7. Blend the sauce until smooth using a blender or immersion blender.
  8. Stir in lime juice for a fresh finish (optional).
  9. Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
