1. Make the Dough
- Mix flour and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Add cold water gradually and mix until dough forms.
- Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Filling
- Mix chosen filling ingredients in a bowl.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
3. Assemble the Hand Pies
- Roll out dough and cut into circles or squares (about 4–5 inches).
- Add 2–3 tbsp filling to each piece.
- Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
4. Bake
