  • Salt and sugar to taste

For the Topping:

  • Anchovy fillets
  • Grated caciocavallo or pecorino cheese
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oregano
  • Olive oil

🔥 How to Make It

  1. Make the Dough: Mix yeast with warm water. Combine flours, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1–2 hours.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: Sauté garlic and basil in olive oil. Add tomatoes, salt, and sugar. Simmer, then blend until smooth.
  3. Assemble: Roll out dough into a baking tray. Spread sauce, layer anchovies, sprinkle cheese, breadcrumbs, oregano, and drizzle olive oil.
  4. Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden and crisp.
