🔥 Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp with dry spices, olive oil, and refrigerate for 1–4 hours.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in butter until fragrant. Add bay leaves, saffron, and hot sauce.
  3. Pour in the beer, simmer for 3–5 minutes to reduce slightly.
  4. Add remaining olive oil, stir constantly.
  5. Add shrimp, cook until pink (about 10 minutes for shell-on; flip halfway if peeled).
  6. Finish with lemon juice and cilantro, stir and let sit briefly.
  7. Serve hot over white rice or with fried potatoes. Spoon plenty of sauce on top!
