
Sindhi Chicken Biryani 🍗
Method :
1. In a bowl, add chicken, above ingredients and half the biryani masala.mix well. Marinate for 30 mins.
2. Heat oil in a vessel, add marinated chicken and cook on high flame for 5 mins.
3. Add potatoes and water. Mix well
4. Cover and cook for 20 mins or till potatoes are cooked.
Ingredients – Biryani Rice
500g Basmati Rice
2 litres Water
2 Bay Leaves
Few Lemon Slices
1.5tbsp Salt
1tsp Black Cumin Seeds
1tbsp Oil
Method :
1. Add water in a vessel, add bay leaves, lemon slices, salt, black cumin seeds, oil. Bring to a boil.
2. Add soaked rice and cook rice 70 % and strain
Ingredients – Biryani Layering
1tbsp Oil
Tomato Slices
Jalapeno Slices
Orange Red Food Color
Chopper Coriander
1tbsp Kewra Water
2tbsp Ghee
Method :
1. Add some oil on the base to prevent biryani from burning.
2. Spread a layer of rice and biryani gravy with chicken.
3. Spread a layer of rice and remaining biryani gravy. Spread rice and place slices of tomato, jalapenos, chopped coriander, food color, kewra water and ghee.
3. Cover with cloth and lid and cook on high flame for 2 – 3 mins, when the vessel is hot, place it on a tawa and cook on dum for 20 mins on low flame.
