Southern Meatloaf with Sweet Tomato Glaze

Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C).

Make the Glaze: Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl. Set aside.

Soften the Bread: In a large bowl, combine bread, crackers, and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Mix the Meatloaf: Add ground beef, egg, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper, and salt to the bowl. Mix gently until combined.

Shape & Bake: Press mixture into a loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes.

Add Glaze: Spread glaze over the top and bake for another 15–20 minutes, until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

Rest & Serve: Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
