15 oz roasted red peppers (jarred or homemade), chopped

1 cup crushed tomatoes

2 cups red or white wine (red for dark meats, white for light meats)

½ cup diced cured meat (bacon, pancetta, or ham)

Optional: rosemary, bay leaves, dried mushrooms

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Fresh parsley for garnish
