Steamed Clams with Garlic, Lemon & Parsley

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the clams: Rinse clams under cold water and discard any that are cracked or won’t close when tapped.
  2. Sauté garlic: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add wine and lemon: Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Steam the clams: Add clams to the pot, cover with a lid, and steam for 5–7 minutes until all clams have opened. Discard any that remain closed.
  5. Finish with herbs: Sprinkle in chopped parsley, lemon zest, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve: Spoon clams and broth into bowls. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the garlicky, lemony broth.
