Prep & season: Pat steak and shrimp dry. Season both with salt and pepper.
Sear the steak: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over high heat. Cook steak 5–7 minutes per side (or to desired doneness). Remove and cover with foil.
Cook the shrimp: Wipe out the pan. Add remaining oil and cook shrimp 3–4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove from pan.
Make garlic butter: Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter, add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in half the parsley.
Combine & serve: Return steak and shrimp to the pan. Spoon garlic butter over the top. Garnish with remaining parsley.
