Ingredients:
1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced (or substitute roast beef)
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 cup mushrooms (optional) 🍄
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 ½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella 🧀
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional garnish)

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Cook the Steak & Veggies: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak (3-4 minutes), then set aside. Add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms (if using) to the skillet, cook until softened (5-7 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, then remove from heat.
3️⃣ Roll Out Dough: Roll the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (approx. 10×14 inches).
4️⃣ Assemble: Layer the steak down the dough’s center, add veggies on top, then sprinkle with cheese.
5️⃣ Fold & Seal: Fold the sides over the filling and seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
6️⃣ Egg Wash: Brush the stromboli with egg wash for a golden finish, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
7️⃣ Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with marinara or cheese sauce.
